Verified data: EV MSRP (hand-verified), EV annual fuel cost (EPA, scaled to your mileage), depreciation — 57.2% for EVs vs 41.8% overall at 5 years (iSeeCars, 950k+ used cars, Mar 2026), prorated linearly for other horizons.
Your inputs: gas car price and mpg (we don't track gas MSRPs), gas price, electricity rate.
Editable estimates: insurance and maintenance defaults are rough U.S. averages — your quotes will differ. Change them; the math updates.
Not included: financing interest, taxes/fees, home charger install, state incentives (see our incentive calculator).
